Little Oak is the name of an island located on Lake of the Woods (LOTW), Ontario. The lake is vital to life in Kenora, and for many people in our community it represents home, a source of drinking water and a relaxing escape nestled in one of the most beautiful parts of Canada. Incorporating LOTW into the name of the clinic was important because it represents the people we care for as well as a place of healing.

Reaching a healthy, balanced state looks and feels different for each individual. Similar to the way an oak tree depends on its immense and intricate system of underground roots to grow and thrive above ground, all health concerns have root causes that need to be addressed in order for true healing and wellness to be achieved.

Our mission is to help you achieve a healthy lifestyle today in order to prevent disease in the future, empower you to take charge of your own health, assist you with navigating the often-overwhelming healthcare system and encourage you to view wellness as a balanced state of your unique physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual layers.
