Dr. Cindl Coulson, ND
Naturopathic Doctor
Cindl's interest in medicine started after participating in a high school trip to Haiti, which strengthened her desire to make a difference in individual lives as well as at a community level. After completing a degree in microbiology and immunology at the University of Western Ontario, she enrolled at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario. During her 4 year program she developed a special interest in pediatrics, fertility and women's health. Cindl moved to Kenora with her family in 2012 and now enjoys all the benefits it has to offer alongside her 3 children.
Cindl has a well-established local practice and has treated a wide variety of conditions. She offers primary care services for children, adults and seniors as well as acupunture treatments. Through her years of walking beside patients on their healing journeys, Cindl has witnessed firsthand the strong connection between mind & body and how effective a holistic care approach can be when dealing with the complex mechanisms that cause disease. She has observed the devastating effects of psychological & emotional trauma on physical health and her assessments & treatments focus on all dimensions of health in order to re-establish a balance of these systems.

Samantha Del Bigio, MPT, BSc
Physiotherapist
Sam grew up in a very physically active and health-oriented family. Following in her parent’s athletic footsteps, she grew up as a gymnast where she competed at the national level. Unfortunately, her gymnastics career was cut short due to an A.C.L tear in her knee at age 13. Her frequent visits to physiotherapy during her gymnastics career sparked an interest in physiotherapy as a career path for Sam. After her knee rehab was complete, Sam picked up an interest in pole vaulting. She was granted a scholarship to the University of Guelph where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Human Kinetics and a minor in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Science. Alongside completing her degree, Sam placed 2nd at the Canadian Nationals (CIS) for pole vaulting in 2015. Before starting her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Manitoba, Sam worked as a strength and conditioning coach where she found her passion in sharing her love for exercise with others. This was where Sam was able to bridge the gap between being an athlete herself and training others for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and goal-oriented exercise. “I know first-hand how frustrating injuries can be on not only our physical health but on our mental health as well. I just want to help people get back to doing what they love, and I truly think exercise is the best medicine.” Sam loves using her exercise knowledge and athletic background to help others of all ages reach their rehab goals. Sam is certified in acupuncture and has a special interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy. She is also passionate about being a lifelong learner where she plans to continue her education in manual therapy. Sam loves to tailor rehab programs for the individual through a problem solving, goal oriented, and team approach.
Sarah Pyzer, MA, R.P.
Psychotherapist
With 25 years of experience in social services and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, I bring a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based modalities and tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. I trust in the inherent wisdom of my clients, believing that healing comes from within, and I strive to create a safe and supportive space where they can explore their experiences, gain insight and foster meaningful change. Trauma can be deeply held in both the body and mind, often shaping the way we see ourselves and the world. I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support deep healing, helping clients process painful experiences and develop a greater sense of internal safety and balance. I also emphasize the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship, knowing that genuine healing happens when clients feel truly seen, heard and supported. My approach is holistic, recognizing the deep connection between mind, body and emotions. I am committed to non-oppressive, inclusive and client-centered care, which respects each person’s unique background and lived experience. Whether working through trauma, life transitions, or challenges with self-worth and relationships, I walk alongside my clients to help them reconnect with their inner wisdom, resilience and healing potential. It is a privilege to witness the strength of my clients as they navigate their healing journey and I am honoured to support them in cultivating greater self-understanding, self-compassion and growth.
